ABOUT US AND HOW TO JOIN
Welcome to the Membership Section for Bearsted and District u3a.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Like all u3as, our membership is open to anyone who is no longer working full time and wants to have fun. It gives you the opportunity to pursue existing interests, find new ones and of course, the chance to socialise and make new friends.
GOOD VALUE
ALL THIS FOR AN ANNUAL FEE OF ONLY £20.00 per person (£40.00 per couple) Our membership year runs from 1 October to 30 September. You can join at any time.
WHAT ELSE?
We offer the following to our members:-
- Almost 60 study and leisure groups to join or even start a new one yourself.
- A monthly meeting with guest speaker.
- Leisure and educational visits.
- National benefits from the Third Age Trust including magazines, courses, events.
- Monthly Newsletter.
- Outings, coffee mornings, Christmas lunch and more.
HOW CAN I FIND OUT MORE?
Contact Claire, our Membership Secretary or come along to our next meeting on the second Thursday of the month at Detling Village Hall. You may attend 2 meetings free as a visitor.
HOW TO JOIN

IMPORTANT Please print a copy of the new member form which is a pdf and complete it by hand. Do not attempt to complete the pdf form on line, it will not work.
If you want a membership card, please include an SAE.
