In just 2 hours we got this far making Kawandi coasters! Jane and Sandra learned this skill at a workshop and provided us with the wadding and backing then we chose scraps of fabric and started stitching with their guidance. A few are finished and the others not far off. Good fun and very useful! Set of placemats next ...?
What: Meeting to discuss and practice a variety of craft projects. To chat about, show and have a go at varying interests and ideas. Group and individual projects could include quilting, sewing, knitting, felting, crochet, pyrography and calligraphy. Visits to craft fairs and workshops (eg wreath making, decorating pottery) to be agreed.
