What: This group is for those who have studied Italian for a year or more. We converse with each other and attempt a little grammar. Italian podcasts will be used to hone our listening skills. Our basic aim is to be able to engage in intelligent conversation with native Italians.
We take turns to host and to supply coffee and cakes which are of course very important to aid the flow of language! We are enjoying a text based on the true story of the flooding of the village of Curon at the time of the Second World War, where you can still see the top of the partially submerged tower. We like to chat about current affairs, general news and our own lives all of which encourages our use of the modern language as well as the written form. Our group has grown in size recently and there is always a lively discussion
This group is currently full, but there are spaces in our Italian Improvers Group
