What: We are a mixed bunch who enjoy researching and talking about Kent's fascinating and varied past. All members contribute and there is a mixture of indoor meetings and visits. We cover any aspect of Kent’s past, from ancient times to more recent and reaching out to the (wider) historic boundaries. For the indoor meetings, presentations can last as long as the subject requires. From 10 minutes to the entire session. But please allow time for questions. Trips may last longer and can include a pub/cafe lunch or picnic.

We like to include a social aspect to our meetings and welcome anyone who would like to give us a try.

Where: For indoor meetings - Bearsted library – NB the room is on the first floor; there is no lift.

Please bring your own refreshments. Borrowing books will also help the library’s future.
