What: A group of people who all love to sing!
Steve has been running the ‘Singing for Fun’ group for several years and provides either song book words or karaoke mp4 files displayed on a widescreen TV. The group sing a wide repertoire of songs from show tunes, standards, swing jazz, pop and rock featuring artists like Queen, Status Quo, Herman’s Hermits, Kinks, John Denver, Rita Coolidge, Lady Antebellum and a favourite, Abba. Members' suggestions for new songs are always welcome.
We take a half time tea/coffee and biscuit break when general chitchat ensues. All you need is enthusiasm and a good pair of lungs, a tuneful voice is a bonus.
The group is currently full, but please join our waiting list & we will contact you as soon as space becomes available. If there is sufficient interest, we would be happy to help set up a 2nd group.
